Thrustmaster T2 reliability mods

Hi once again!!

Once I get my PC, I am thinking of buying a Thrustmaster T2 for all the
driving games I intend *** to death!!
I was wondering - do the T2's need to have the wooden block glued inside
to prevent spring breakage like the T1s do/did? If so, then what size
block should I use, and where do I glue it?

Thanks in advance,

Cameron..

I've had my T2 for about 2 months and was very happy with it until last
night when disaster struck.  In fact, GP2 is so realistic that you could
say my throttle stuck open - in other words - the b*!$ard pedal broke!
Looks like the modification you mentioned could be required.

Oh no, keyboard and auto everything, here I come...
