Did you have the v2 in the k7 before the v3?  Did you completely remove
the v2 stuff before installing the v3?  Do you have the 2.53
glide2x.dll in your gpl folder?  If so, dump it.

Hmm... Well... I took my Matrox Millenium G200 and my voodoo2 card and put
those in my new computer in place of the voodoo3 card. Of course the Matrox
Millenium g200 is also agp so that might not help..
but with these cards I still get 7 fps ( +/- )
I really need help :)

so... help me hehe

The detail slider shouldn't cause such a huge drop in fps anyway. I keep mine
all the way to right, all graphic and sound options turned on, and even at
1024x768 my fps stays pretty decent. And I'm only running a 300a Celery o/c
450, 128, V3 2000 o/c 173, and an old MX300 A3D card. You certainly have a
hardware advantage over me.

make sure you tell the BIOS to run Setup Defaults.. This is one of the
major culprits when Athlon systems are running sluggish.

Also, make sure the AGP miniport driver is installed.

Hope this helps.

The motherboard is not jumperfree so It might be I need to move a jumper ?
But I read the manual and everything seems to be in the right place.
When I boot my computer the bios also says

AMD (unknown ) 600mhz

Seems a little strange it doesnt say AMD Athlon 600 or AMD K7 or something
??

Yes - ( not sure I can get you to understand what I mean in english but Ill
try :)  )
From what I have seen... I seems like ... like the 3dfx option is selected
but I still get software mode. When I go to options and check it says 3dfx.
And when I try to play I can see - like the tyres are not "square" like in
software mode - but the graphics look much better on my p2-333 with a voodoo
2 card.

I also tried F1 99 and that also ran veeery slowly

I have innstalled numerous ( is that a word ? ) drivers from 3dfx and
3dfxgames.com but nothing help. Ive also innstalled a new driver for the agp
port.

I have a asus k7m motherboard by the way

As long as it reports the correct CPU speed, you should be OK.

To change BIOS settings shouldn't require any jumper changes.  Just go
into the BIOS settings - usually by pressing the <DEL> key on boot-up,
or find out how in the mobo instruction book - once in the BIOS there
should be an option to "Load Setup Defaults" or "Load Optimal
Settings" ,or something to that effect.

Banshee cards significantly.

I would suggest that you download the latest bios version for your M/Board
and update to that, this should then recognise your Athalon. Also check (I'm
sure you already have) that the L1 and L2 cache are enabled in the bios,
                                                            Good Luck!
