The only pictures they show are the chase view, do you think they have
an in***pit view? :-) I hope it is acurate to the toon world, so you
can drive however you feel.

due to too many English classes/teachers)

Oh ye of little faith -- must others do ALL the work for you?  <G>
This looks like a very NICE in-cockpit view to me (your mileage may
vary, of course):

Enjoy!

Oops!  Dammit Steve -- my most sincere apologies!  I had two windows
open and I thought your reply about no in-cockpit view was in the
thread regarding Historic Rally Trophy.  Again, my apologies for
crossing up the threads.

Nice in-cockpit shots from Historic Rally Trophy, though!

;-)

Depends... how well does either game model a sheep splatting across the
windscreen?

Keep in mind those shots are very, very old .. We're very busy at the
moment, doing the tracks and cars. Not to mention the constant additions
and tweaks the engine is getting.

Comparing the pictures below to the current build of the game is like
looking at two different games altogether. Only thing that has remained
relatively same is the track ;).

BTW, I tossed this (particularly pretty) new car around the tracks the
other day and wondered why it's so quirky and generally a pain in the
a** to drive on gravel. I quickly realized why it behaved that way when
I made a hard braking and watched the car wobble like a big old american
cruiser for a few seconds when it finally stopped. Someone had tweaked
on the shock absorbers to nearly non-existant. Duh. After that, it
became quite fun trying to keep it on the road. :)

As for the demo; Personally, I hope so. Officially, I don't know any
details (haven't asked). I'll ask monday if there's anything I could
reveal :)

I only have one question: are the roads going to be as wide as in
CMRII or more narrower as in RC2000?
