It's more than political.....

Mad Cow Disease Cases (known) last year:

        United Kingdom                          =   186,000+ cases
The rest of the World Combined  =           384 cases

(BBC Radio News).

Hi John!

Well, would you believe if I told you I have a copy of the master in
my hands and I'm playing GP2 right now? One more week to go...

Ummmmm... Shut up, please.  To commit a crime is foolish.  To say you intend to
commit that crime is idiotic.  To say you are going to commit a crime and then
go and commit it makes you certifiably psychotic.  Might want to check on the
penalties for pirating and distributing pirated software before you decide to
do it, much less tell the world you do it.

Besides all this, you're wrong about the release dates.  Do your
homework next time.  I would also not recommend travel plans to the UK anytime
soon with that attitude.

>So when is the USA release date?

7/23/1996 is the official release date for the US and worldwide. You
should be able to buy it in some areas on the same day or the next day
depending on how the retail chain ship their new products (overnight/2
day etc.)

it is coming for sure.

You oughta tell your sales people. Talk to some moron in sales that didn't even
know it was close to coming out, said "end of this month or beginning of next".

>will you be shipping the game to customers who have bought it directly
>from microprose ON the 23rd?  how soon should we expect it to arrive?

Hi Denis,
If you ordered the game through our direct sales operation: Your order
will ship on the 23rd. If you asked for overnight, you will get it on
the 24th. All other regular mailings will get there depending on how
far away you are from San Diego California and how long the postal
office takes to deliver.

That's why I asked you if you called the 800 number. I was trying to
find out from where those sales people were giving the wrong
information... anyway our direct sales number is: 800-879-PLAY or
800-695-GAME That's 800-879-7529 or 800-695-4263
