So now I'm a liar too? When people like you tell r.a.s. that I constantly
criticize GPL unfairly when in actuality I have posted virtually nothing
about it for three months, who's a liar?
More likely your insecurity led you to do that.
Oh no.
You can take your "lying" comments and shove them up your a** Richard. Your
lap did look good. I was being polite to you in a private e-mail. I never
have, and never will, tell someone privately that something they are very
PROUD of wasn't that good. You did seem proud of it when you sent it to me.
Your lap WAS very good compared to others. It didn't look like the AI , but
it was good. What I believe I also said to you at a later date was that Spa
is the one track in GPL where a person has the best chance to be smooth due
to it's layout (long sweeping turns). You know that. We all know that.
Maybe that's why you chose that track to send to me?
It's something I considered at the time, but didn't feel the need to make
accusations since your letter was (pretending to be) friendly. By the way, I
did notice that you ripped me immediately afterwards on r.a.s. I guess you
thought you set me up real good, huh? Be polite and friendly to someone
privately, get a polite and friendly response in return (as you should), and
then use it against them (like today). You're so clever.
I hate to burst your bubble, but other than the same ten guys (you included)
who cry about my posts regarding GPL(as infrequent as they are), no one else
ever has a complaint about me. I don't recall ever receiving anything but
polite responses from fans of all the other sims discussed at r.a.s. or at
other forums. No MGPRS2 fans (for example) seem to ever have a problem with
anything I say. I am on very friendly terms with some of the same people in
the sim community who you are surely very familiar with. We exchange ideas
all the time. We've raced often. We've beta tested together. They appreciate
my opinions and I absolutely enjoy and appreciate theirs, and learn from
them. I'll soon be beta testing a very promising sim which is to be released
later this year (you'll surely hate it if I end up liking it) and also have
received an offer recently to do some level design work for another sim
developer. Three different developers/publishers seem to think I can be
helpful in some small way regardless of how ten guys at r.a.s. feel about
me.
It's really only (as I keep saying) the same ten guys at r.a.s. who have
been attacking my posts ever since CPR was released and trying to discredit
what I say. So sensitive. Strange. I don't see the point of this endeavor
but if you kids enjoy it, feel free. It's quite funny at times. I do feel
sorry though for others who receive the same crap. They seem to actually get
upset about it.
"As usual" I'll make you happy and say the answer is, of course, GPL.
Cheers,
David G Fisher
GPL is an excellent sim.
