F1 2001: PEDAL FIX!!!!

Strangely, I tried to do this pre and post patch using dxtweak with
non-ff ms wheel and it alternately has no effect or, depending on the
temperature and barometric pressure, cause the X-axis (which I don't
even touch) to start misbehaving.

A REAL fix would be a friggen patch from ISI.  I can't believe that
someone released a racing game in the year 2001,
simulation/arcade/whatever, that doesn't properly support split-axis
controllers.  If I didn't have to change my pedal mode to single-axis
everytime I wanted to play F1 2001 I'd probably play it more than once
every 2 weeks.

Well, maybe It's like I said.  It could be the difference in operating
systems.  What DX version do you run Pat?

hehe, I figured it out.  I switched the AL from the USB connection to
Serial.  Opened DXtweaker and the values in axes were actually different.  I
made changes and all is well.  Must be something with USB.

The recently-released patch (www.easportsf1.com) sure solved my split-axis
problems.  Perhaps you  need to reinstall your game?
