Because Psygnosis licensed a later season, thats all.
The 1994 tracks in GP2 seem acurate enough to me. I just hope we get
to see a track pack sooner or later. I'm not expexting it though.

Turn up the difficulty level and your Sauber will be nowhere near as
fast as the Williams. It will then be time to hit the garage and make
adjustments. You could make the Sauber (or any other car) as fast as
the Williams in Ace mode but it would take a lot of fiddling.
I'm having a hard enough time with the second difficulty level.
I can be as fast as the other cars, maybe 1 or 2kmh slower than the
Williams on the straight, but it's the sticking to the track part
thats a bit harder :)

| No***pit view in Psygnosis F1 puts it out of the simulation category
| for me, no matter how good it looks.

I think this is only because you are used to the GP2 kind of sim- it
is, after all, the only sort of sim we've had up till now, invented by
the Papyrus/Microprose efforts. This is a complete departure, focusing
entirely on simulating visually the actual driving experience more
than the analytical side of winning races through car setup.

F1 simulates the tracks incredibly well, better than anything I've
ever raced on a computer. Secondly, I think it's driving phsyics model
is remarkable. It took me a while to realize just how good it is.

For what it is worth, do you have any idea how many Papyrus sim
afficionados despised GP2 when it came out because it seemed to not be
a "sim" to them? It just wasn't "painful" and tedious enough, I guess!
I think we have more of the same here. I can't believe everybody isn't
thrilled that another amazing sim, in addition to GP2, now exists...
and the fact it is so different makes it only that much better.
