Realistic Simulator?

Hi,

I am wondering which current simulators are considered realistic as in
close to real race driving.  It appears the Grand Prix Legends is
considered very good on this regard, but it appears that Sierra has
taken it off the market.  Are there any current good ones?

TIA, Dan

It depends on your poison..

For Vintage F1 - 1967 style...GPL is still the one...It is still available
if you look around, not bad for a title that came out in 1998

Current F1 - EA Sports F1 Challenge 1999-2002 much harder to get than GPL,
plus there are some great add-on mods, I still cant find this title either,
still stuck with my F1 2002

Nascar - Nascar Racing 2003 Season - The last of a great series from
Papyrus/Sierra, plus there are really good add-ons for it as well..
Available for as low as $10 if you look around

I guess we're probably prepared to pay more, actually it didn't show up on
ebay.co.uk until I specifically set 'worlwide' search. Sold for $20.50 in
the end.

I am looking for a road course, not oval.  What is coming out in a few
more months?

Just pick an oval and turn around and go backwards every other lap if you
MUST turn right :)

In case you haven't been paying attention, there are 2 excellent Touring Car
mods and dozens upon dozens of road courses avaialble for NR2003.  And if
you have never tried oval racing, on-line multi-player racing doesnt get any
better than it does with ovals.  It is as fun to hotplap?  No, but on-line
competition on ovals and especially with how good Papyrus' netcode is makes
NR2003 an essential title in any sim racers library

I don't actually have any ovals installed in my copy of N2003.  There
are tons of road courses available, many of which are Papy-quality or
better.

The sim coming out in a few months is GTR.
