Really?  Ok, maybe it was someone else.  I *did* get hit in a manner like Brian
described.  A car involved in a crash stopped high.  As I was going by, he
pulled down into me.  I haven't looked at the replay yet, so I couldn't say
exactly who it was.

For the record, I was NOT the one who put John into the wall.  I was running
5th, and got third because of their melee...

As mentioned in another part of the thread, there actually were two seperate
but similar incidents. I assumed Brian was saying he'd hit you in the
aftermath of his incident with JayMo (where he let it roll down the banking
backwards and, inevitably, got clubbed by me), my mistake.

It is, in most cases.  There was just an unexpected visitor.

I thought the point was it was a drop in race where anyone could join so I'd
expect this type of thing would happen.
You guys do realize this is becoming an invite league don't you?  Not
criticizing anyone but I've been following these threads just to see how you
guys are making out and it becomes more a more a league for selected drivers
each week.  I just hope things are going as you have planned as I know
getting something like this going is not an easy task.

Hold me up when I am faster and you can expect the same sometime in the
future when you're faster. It's all about who is fast on certain days, I try
not to hold up guys on my slow days and I expect the same curteousy on my
fast days...

It's gotten to the point where we expect to see certain people with
certain car nuners, and there's a large number of people (much more than
43) in the group.

The reasons to create and maintain an invite list are:

1) Prevent new guys from just dropping in without at least registering
for a car number first.  This way, they also see the "guidelines" we'd
like them to adhere to.

2) If someone goes bersertk and all of a udden starts wrecking people
intentionally, we can easily ban him from the server by simply removing
him from the invite list.  Of course, to make this work, Eldred would
also have to come up with a super-double-secret server password that
only he knows ("RAS" wouldn't be viable).

  Exactly.
