Every now and then during a race in NFS:PU my cursor pops on the screen. It
does it every race, just pops on and then disapears again after a couple
seconds. I'm wondering if anybody else gets this or if it's just that I run
LiteStep instead of Explorer, or if it has to do with windows Blinds. Voodoo
3.

I think it's been in all the NFS games, at least 3,4 and now 5.

I get it too. It helps to just slide the mouse up so that the cursor is not
in the middle of the screen the next time it pops up. Since I play the
"letterboxed" view, this helps a lot. The program seems to remember where
the cursor was when you clicked "race" to go into race mode and displays
this location. Strange use of resources when you're racing.

I noticed the same thing while playing NFS:PU at a friend of mine,
allthough I don't have this problem. This friend of mine had the
cursor all the time on the screen. It turned out that this was due to
his ff wheel. Because of the ff, the mouse moved the whole time,
causing the cursor to appear on the screen.
With ff turned off this didn't happen.

I have the same problem, I just move it to the top right corner and it goes
away. I'm running a tnt2u old t2 wheel . Seems the problem happens with
different video cards and wheels

I have it too.
My card: GeForce256.
My mouse also apears dubble on the screen. In the NFS mode (is like a "3D"
shape and blue) and over that the default windowsarrow. Very strange.

The cursor is supposed to appear when you move the mouse, so that you
can move the hud displays around the screen if you want.
