Yes, but most software will just shut up if you click a "don't register" or
"register later" option. Quicken even has a "don't register" button but it
still nags you every few times you start it. All of my sims are content to
be unregistered.

I just loaded mine on another system last night. Quicken 2001. It didn't ask
me to register the first time I ran the program, but it did the next time. If
I cancel the registration, it will ask me every 2nd time...
Yeah, that's pretty f'ing annoying...

Like I said, I _used_ to just do it but now they have extended the reg page
to force you to create an Intuit online banking account, and it won't
complete the registration unless you do.
They can go pack sand.
