Mitch, I am sure you are more than capable of being responsible for your
own actions and don't need to rely on others to prevent you from
responding to troll posts.

Sure I'd rather not see the OT political stuff as in my opinion it
degrades the value of the group - but heck this is usenet and we have
both been around here long enough to know the score. It is one opinion
in a diverse group and if you choose to disagree with it so be it.

Cheers

I dont disagree Tony.

Not sure if youve noticed but I havent said a word about politics in this
thread.

The thread went into another direction but not due to my responses.

All I asked is whats new in the simracing world to talk about.

Anything?

Are you seriously concerned about all this?  It's not like the Feds are
going to come knocking at your door, intended to arrest you for responding
to Trolls.  And they are not Trolls, anyhow.  A Troll is not a regular, and
only appears and disappears, never responding to those who respond to his
troll.

NO!  There are places to discus this tripe just as there are place for me
to take a DUMP!  People have asked both sides NICELY to stop.  Since
neither seems to want to listen I won't be nice.

I             DON'T     CARE   ABOUT    YOUR     POLITICAL   POSITIONS.

I  DON'T CARE IF YOU HAVE BEEN INSULTED OR MIS-INTERPRETED.  GO
SOMEWHERE ELSE.  GO TO ALT.WATERCOOLER.PISSONTHEOTHERGUY.  BUT DON'T COME
HERE AND FILL UP THE NEWSGROUP WITH ANY MORE POLITICAL TALK.

When folks ask you NICELY to stop and all the both of you do is rationalize
why what YOU have to say is too important to be quiet...then you just don't
have any consideration for the group.  I'm guilty too,  I added to
this..but now I've seen my error and I'm stopping.  AND SO THE FVCK SHOULD
YOU YOU GO**AMN LITTLE FOURYEAROLDS!!!!   Do I need to be any plainer?

This is no different than some auto software guy flooding our newsgroup
with pirated auto diagnostic software. It's wrong.  If you don't know
it...you should.

Again, my aplogies to the group for plainspeak.

"Tough" isnt something an individual can quantify themselves.  It must to be
exhibited :)

I am a real SOB though.  What, no arguments ;)

The frustration which caused the original request to dump the OT stuff
is that there are posters who get drawn into the ot threads also post
credible on topic stuff which gets lost with a simple filter. The
filters work fine for the truly inane poster!

I think I understand it perfectly, you are saying you can't restrain
yourself if someone responds to a poster you have killfiled, hence my
previous response:

Whether you want to is another matter :)

This newsgroup is completely irrelevant.  It serves no purpose to the
simracing community anymore.  Just let it go rotten, I say.

rec.autos.simulators is a usenet newsgroup formed in December, 1993. As this group was always unmoderated there may be some spam or off topic articles included.
