I said build a house, not an apartment :) I've yet to experience
complaining neighbours in a standalone house. Matter of fact, I've yet
to experience complaining neighbours at the apartment i live in now,
even I practice playing the drums once a week with my ***band :)

Take a look at some pictures from the full scale simulator we have at
work: http://www.racesimcentral.net/
norwegian, but the pictures speaks for themselves. Sadly, GPL's
physics engine is head and shoulders over the Renault made we have here.

I want you to know that this, um, "sim-box" has a value beyond its
initial appearance.  I sent the link to my wife, and she has
noticeably backed down from her presiously-held view that I am an N4
*** nut-job who takes this racing thing far too seriously!

Indeed, the internet is very useful at finding examples of people gone
way over the top at the same hobbies that i have.

But if your millionaire, your neighbour are hopefully quite far from you ;-)

Really?  So either you only practice when the neighbors are away, or you're
actually halfway GOOD at it...<g>

Man, looks interesting...  How's the frame rate?<g>

Y2kRick is the best example of that.  His over-the-top realism (he was
always racing on his racing seat WITH a full helmet WITH a full suit) was a
clear indicator of his mental health ;-)

Not too good either. On highways it's probably around the 30's, but in
a city environment with a lot of buildings and stuff it drops to
around 20 or worse.
