TOCA2 demo left baggage on my hard drive

Some time after uninstalling the TOCA2 demo, I realized a dir named
something like TOCA2 in my windoze temp dir, approx 42 megs of the
installation files.  I don't recall any problems during
install/uninstall, maybe someone else would care to check theirs.

Nope, don't have that problem.

Those files are probably the "temporary" installation files created when you
installed the game.
You _should_ be able to safely delete these files after the installation.

After you double-clicked on the file you downloaded, it unzipped its
files into your temp directory and created a TOCA2 directory.  The
installation routine will NOT delete them, but you CAN. Just go to your temp
directory and press CTRL-A to select all the files and press DEL.

Did that right away, temp dir is fair game with a bullseye. Just
thought it odd that I would be left with that type of refuse after a
seemingly eventless uninstall.  Ah, well.

Yes, I had the files also and you can delete them. Sloppy though, the
installer shouldn't leave 40+ megs of temp files on your system drive.

Most likely they use the very same install routine for CD and Download.
Obviously the install from CD wouldn't want to try to delete files from the
CD.  They COULD, however, have set up Winzip to delete it's files when
done...  But it's not the fault of the install routine: it's the fault of
whoever set up Winzip for 'em.
