You never had any authority.

My allegiance lies with RASCAR, sorry.

John is still RASCAR's best shot of keeping going, whether *you* fail to
understand that or not is beside the point.

I haven't actually looked at that yet and I doubt I will, seeing as you have
failed to see reason in two seperate incidents.

I'm curious though... did you think going tooth and nail with someone you
had words with outside the races was a good idea? -In practise?

Well, I had fun while it lasted. Thanks John and Eldred. I had no problems
with the rules that John set up. In fact, I read the rules when I joined 7
races ago, and I read them before the Bristol race, didn't see much
difference. Without rules you have chaos. You have to obey rules in everyday
life, and in the games we play. The ones complaining would have been kicked
out my Pistol Club Matches before they made it through their first match.  I
really hope that RASCAR can continue someway.

So sorry to hear that Eldred.  But I don't blame ya for it.  Thanks again
for your MAJOR part in RASCAR.

Tim
ps:  I'd be interested in one of those 100% races,  you have my email.

You're just a decent person who tried to do a good thing. There's no shame
in that. But you know what they say... no good deed ever goes unpunished!

- And how many people were affected by these new rules? Zero. All this
for a bunch of nothing. What a bunch of ***ing losers. Thanks for
your hard work, John. Thanks for the server, Eldred. Thanks for the
replays, Jan. Everyone else...except for a nameless few....thanks for
the good racing. Wait till I tell my wife. She will be estatic. Now
the lawn gets mowed on Saturdays. For the nameless few....***
you....you got what you wanted....no more John.

Dave

BTW, John, if you get this....anytime you get around to sending me the
psp on the truck, and if you ever get a T/A Texas car completed...you
can send it my way. You should have my email addy, but if you
don't...let me know by posting here.

I've had only two issues with you. One was for suspending me for a race for
reacting to a jerk for threatening to wreck me during a race and then
repeating the same threat here in the newsgroup. The dictator did nothing
when I was threatened. You did nothing. I reacted by telling him he better
stay the hell away from me. I get suspended. That's bullshit.

The other issue was something you said about my driving style which I had
never heard from another driver before in my life, and which you never
offered any proof of.

Other than that, I think you seem like a very nice guy. I just don't
understand why you let Simmons take over something (and act like an ***
while doing so) that was never his to begin with. You volunteered your
server. He volunteered to do some limited services. That was it. No one ever
gave the ok to take it any further.

First of all...thanks Eldred. I don't blame you. I can't believe that a group
of ***s playing a game (YES A ***ING GAME) let things come to this. A lot
I'd like to say but too damn mad to type now

They will no doubt over estimate their inequities.

I think the saying goes "If you can't beat them, join
them." Perhaps it should read "If you can't join them
beat them."

> Tsk tsk Eldred, that's not the point of racing.  Only 1 person wins a
race.

I've read a lot of pompous, bombastic and presumptuous assertions on this
newsgroup over the years, but your attempt to lecture Eldred on the spirit
of racing deserves a prize.

Eldred, in his self deprecating way, has been a living symbol of "racing for
the sake of the race". If anyone should be standing on a soapbox tonight it
should be Eldred - but then he wouldn't be Eldred, would he?

Sorry you're leaving Eldred.

Guess you have fallen prey to the old adage that "no good deed goes
unpunished."

Sorry to see you do this eldred.  You're a legend in the sim racing
community, and contributed a great deal.
If I was in your shoes, I may have done the same thing.  But then again my
attitude is not to let the bastards win.

Thanks for everything you've done for the community so for and anything you
do in the future.
