ESPN (not the deuce) broadcast it flag to flag live.

Did anyone else think Gordon was a little out of control on the last 10
laps?  He almost cost Wallace the win, all the while a lap down.  Maybe
he thought he was on the lead lap, going for the win!!  ;)

It's being re-run right now on ESPN2, so I'd guess ESPN/ESPN2
broadcast it originally. :-)

Either he didn't know he was a lap down (impossible), or his mega-ego
prevented him from allowing the leaders to pass (probable). Was there
any other possible reason for him to be racing with the leaders? I hope
NASCAR has a word with him.

Patrick.

He was going for the win!  There were only four cars
on the lead lap.  Had he not lost the momentum slowing
down to miss ervin he would have made up the lap and
could have raced for the win on the last few laps.  It
almost paid off.
After he didn't make it, he still had to race hard
because Rudd was on his tail and that was for position.

If he could have gotten his lap back he would have been fourth and had a
shot at it.No he wasnt out of control he was just racin.Thats what Nascar
racing is all about. You dont stop just because your a lap down, If they did
that it would only have been five cars on the track.

No, he didn't.  Wallace didn't win anything.  His CREW cost Wallace the
race, not Gordon!

Nope.  NASCAR checked over the engine and found that the compression was
in specifications- Rusty was officially declared the winner.  Golden-boy
got lapped fair and square. ;)

Wrong.  Nothing wrong with Rusty's car, despite the fact that Jeffy was
trying with all his might to put some wrinkles in it.

Oh, and by the way: Ernie's crash -- started when Jeff drove over
Ernie's right front tire, which caused it to go down a few laps later.
So, Jeff's 'been around the start of' (don't want to offend any of you
Gordon fans) two wrecks this year, Irvan none.  I think Jeff's making a
run ar supplanting Ernie as the King of Crashes.

JG also hit two water barrels at the start of pit road earlier. What
was he doing anyway? Gordon also hit got into Irvan which made him lose
a tire and hit the wall.

Actually nothing happened. His motor was declared legal earlier today.

ESPN had it I believe Rusty won but that is unofficial something about his
engine is getting inspected by the officials. I guess he was messing with
the .TXT files:)
