> Any particulare reason?

Yeah, justice finally prevailed, PaeTec won their appeal, and
monsterhut.com spams no more.  Checked your e-mail lately, spammer?

A great day for the Internet.  :-)

AAAHHH!!!  Finally pay back!

Perhaps I can go back to my real e-mail address now then...?
Spammers seem to "steal" alot of e-mail addresses from USENET, so I thought
it was time to pay them back by spreading their e-mail addresses all over
the place :-)

Anyway, seems like the bastards got what they deserved so now I can go back
to my own address :-)

Wooohooo :-)

If that's truly the case, then I offer you an apology - with that
posting address I really thought you were affiliated with the
Monsterhut slimeballs.  :-)

GPL is the only Papy product I have, so I can't speak for all of them,
but I've never had this happen in the two years or so that I've had it.

Does it with me too...will occaisionally change from the direct input box
to the Papyrus optimized drivers box...which throws out all the
calibrations.
Not a big problem..just something I've noticed over the years.

I've had a few Papy sims (N3, N4, N2002, and GPL) and never had calibrations
disappear. It's probably some combination of OS, DirectX version, and
specific hardware that causes this.

It's only ever happened to me if I've started a game without the wheel
connected.

I've had just about every sim Papyrus has made, and the only times I can
recall loosing the calibration is when I "steal" the focus of windows as the
sim is about to load...

I.e double-click to start the sim, then click on something else to
start/stop it.... (like ICQ) .. but doing that will***up more than just
controller-settings - it will***up player selection too.

I do have it, both in GPL and in N2002. Maybe one out of 50 times when
I start GPL, the calibration is gone. I can either recalibrate or just
quit and restart GPL, and all is ok again. Not a big problem, since I
think it doesn't hurt to recalibrate once in a while :)
