The USPits TRANS AM file was just to simply unlock the physicks.   You could
do it manually, but they just made a little file to do the work for you.

The PWF TRANS AM (which only the Beta has been released of) will be a Full
Blown Mod based around those physics.  It is best to get the PWF Version
since that is what the standard will be (if you can really call it that).

You're selling the Pits a little short here, The Pits were (are? not
sure of status now)  also working on a Trans Am mod, in fact were well
into working on it before anything was known about the PWF doing TA's.

The Pits tool and PWF's beta were effectively the same thing, although
the pits tool did not make track.ini changes like the PWF tool does.
also the Pits tool was out first by well over a week, with manual
instructions for unlocking TA's available at the Pits for a week or so
before that even. :P

Not to take anything away from what is being offered by PWF, but I felt
credit should go where it was due. :P

I too would suggest using the PWF version just to make sure you're
running what most people are likely to be running right now, thx to Alan
for the PR though :-), especially since there's nothing "special" about
our version at this point

Just in the spirit of things...:-)

The PWF beta patch also includes nice menu artwork.

While the US PITS version works fine, its just not quite as polished as the
PWF version, no criticism intended for the US Pits guys...they do lots of
great stuff there...
