NR2003 with 512MB vs 1GB RAM

Hi,

Does anyone know if Nascar Racing 2003 benefits from an increase in
ram from 512MB to 1GB under XP Pro? Obviously it will depend on the
number of processes running but assuming there are as few as
possible...

You can have larger replays without causing hard disc activity.

I've seen the same, 512 seems to be the max that is used by it.

NR2003 is very CPU dependant it seems.  What CPU are you currently running
or planning on?

Thanks for your interest dude. And of course I meant XT...

One other problem I've had though (and which is a current thread on
ras) is corrupted sound in WinXP with NR2003. I've got an MSI 875P Neo
and the onboard sound (ADI SoundMAX) is to blame (doesn't seem to be a
problem in Win98 though). So I'm thinking about an Audigy2.

Any opinions?

Of COURSE they are dropping in price.  I just bought a 9800 Pro!

I suffer from "Leo Laporte Syndrome".
