rec.autos.simulators

I've been playing with the Nascar Pro wheel for 1 year & the plastic around
the set***that attaches the wheel to the shaft keep breaking.  This is
the second time in 1 year.  The first time Thrustmaster sent me a new wheel
now thay won't return my E-mails and I can't stand waiting on hold for 1/2
hour to talk to them.  Has anyone experienced the same wheel issue?  Know of
any fixes?  Is it just me or does Thrustmaster's service suck?

Try putting a hose clamp around it.  That's what I did.  Got a nice one at Pep
Boys.  My wheel was loose and had a crack at the screw.

Is there anything on a thrustmaster wheel that doesn't break?  Their playing us
for fools!  My T2 doesn't even clamp onto my desk properly, I had to strap it to
the desk with an bit of rope! It looks ugly and it's a pain in the neck. Given up
on the T2, I get  much better results with my joystick.
    What a shame.
