System requirements for MGPRS2

System requirements for MGPRS2

My system works fine for F1RS, but I was wondering if I'm likely to have
problems on multiplayer if I get MGPRS2.
My system:
AMD-K6 233
64Mb SDRAM
Monster II 4Mb
56k modem
Thanks in advance,
David

Should be fine.  I didn't see an obvious difference in performance between RS1
and RS2.

I've noticed that MGPRS2 is choppier than F1RS.

Perhaps, but not by much.  But would you agree that given he was happy with
F1RS and the specs of his machine, that he would be quite likely fine with
MGPRS2?

MGPRS2 runs much smoother than F1RS ever did for me. No first corner
slowdowns any more.

The first corner slow down was gone when I upgraded to a PII-233.
After this upgrade, I was extremely happy with the framerate of F1RS.

However, MGPRS2 is definetely choppier than the first.
A few other friends of mine have noticed this also.

Are there settings that will help me optimize MGPRS2? (other than
turning down the details).

I don't know what to telll you because most opinions I've read about MGPRS2
is that it runs significantly smoother than F1RS.  A P200 with a Voodoo1 can
run a full field, full graphic options, smooth as silk. I don't know what
graphics card you are using, so maybe it's a driver problem. Try this site's
forum board and you should definitely get some answers.  www.mgprs2.com

I'm running a PII-233 with Voodoo2 SLI - 12MB.

I'm NOT saying that MGPRS2 is REALLY choppy, but I'm experiencing a
more choppy game than F1RS.

I've got the latest drivers, but I will look into this and see what I
can do to eleviate this problem.

Thanks.

Same here: the demo looked extremely smooth on my machine, but with
more than 15AI the first corner (especially Monaco) is barely driveable.

apart from some choppiness at race starts with a full field your system
should be up to the job.
