GP3 runs great on my PIII 600 Geforce DDR system but on my second computer a

slivoodoo2=0 to 1in cards.txt and put altmirrors=0 to1 (mirrors don't work
without it) but it's still painfully slow (slower than in software for
Christ's sake!). Is there a fix?

It on runs as fast as the slowest machine in network play and I sooo need to
play in networked.

Any help would be much appreciated

GP3 may be disappointing but it's still a blast

When you find a fix..  PLEASE let us all know  :-(

I have the same problem and I"m running in Software mode atm..   looks like
GP2...  still drives good.. but I'd like to take advantage of V2 SLI

Have you tried the 'reduced texture size' option on the Advanced graphics
config screen (it's on the left at the bottom)?

Tim,

My other computer is the same, it has a Voodoo Banshee and a Pentium 233, it
runs at 500% in 3D Accelerated mode and 250% with Software Rendering. Weird
!!. Only get about 8 fps also.

I've finally managed to get GP3 working woth my K6-2 and voodoo2's. I've got
the newest reg patch and put the original voodoo drivers on (the ones that
come on the disk) I've set alt mirrors to 1 slivoodoo2 to 1 and
detailtexture to 0. It now runs at about 110% at 16fps. this is a big
improvement on 400-500% but is still slower than in software (hello, I
thought I had a 3d accelerator card not a decelerator card!)

Anyway it's better than nothging and I can now play over the lan although it
still pisses me off at how***poor the perforance is even compared to dare
I say it F1 2000.
