The shots look good.  Too good, if you ask me.

Either there is no way that the production game will look like this, or
you'll need a Cray to run it.  Look at those textures.....

A P3-800 with Voodoo5-6000 will run it just fine.

sorry, I was typing over my steering wheel as usual. That'll always get your
typing skills in trouble (all though I'm surprised the spell checker didn't
catch that one)

I was just stating that when the graphics go full screen, they will lose
some of their crispness. They will still look very good, but not as good as
they do in a condensed screenshot.

True it does matter what resolution the shots were taken at, but compressing
an image to quarter the size will always make it look a little crisper.
(Assuming your using a halfway decent graphics program) That's why game
companies are almost always posting shots at a smaller size.

Anyhow my point is that the game shouldn't need that much power to run
efficiently. Based on the interview at: http://www.racesimcentral.net/

20:32] <Sejama> What about system-specs? (Dodn't know if anyone has asked
this....)
[20:32] <Chris_West> System, a 250Mhz and at least 32MB and a 3d card.

earlier...

[19:15] <Chris_West> Min spec, well its being developed on a 450Mhz with
Voodoo 3, but also being tested on a 133Mhz PII and voodoo 2.
[19:16] <Chris_West> Its dosnt run to well on the 133, but killing all
detail just about gets a frame rate. But I suspect the absoulte min when all
is working is going to about a 250Mhz
[19:17] <Chris_West> But ram is the key commodity, at least 32MB.

so things shouldn't be that demanding.
