The game uses rigid body dynamics as the basis of the physics engine, but
with a few improvements. The mass of each car is determined by positioning
masses around the car, so its not just a simple lump mass, and the mass
properties are calculated on the fly, so as the fuel goes down, or you lose
a piece of body work the mass matrix is recalculated to move the CG of the
car. The suspension for each car is modelled by using inverse kinematics to
recreate real suspension layouts. And this again can be changed at any time.
You can literally change the length of the upper a arm, or its mounting
position and see the wheel move on the car. Anything that can be adjusted on
a real car is available to the player to change in the game. Nothing is
fudges or canned.

But the bit I like best is this !

"And the beer advertising is there as that's what's there in real life."

A bit more info is available on my page .. I have contacted somepeople from
the game .. As soon as I know more I will post the info.
GPL just might pale into insignificance.
