Hmmm, these are only polygons with some texture mapping on them. Actually,
the body shape is nothing in the simulators. It's only a visual
representation. So those GT cars or Craftman Trucks you find on various
website are only for the visual.
Implementing (sp?) an actual hauler would result in redoing the entire game
engine, and this is VERY very VERY complicated (more than any people think
about).
Still with the new game engine from Papyrus, it will be more easy to
recreate other car models. I remember Mike Lescault (AFAIK) saying that if
they had all the characteristics and specifications of a Volvo per exemple,
that they could put them into the game engine. The actual driving would be
the same as in real life. Hope I helped you (it's all not THAT simple).
