In N2, is it possible to reduce amount of fuel for a race?

% I know it isn't possible within the NASCAR2's normal setup, but is
% there
% any way to have ALL drivers start a race with less fuel so that pit
% stops
% can come earlier and more often in a shortened race?

You can change the pit window in <track>.txt file for each track.  For
instance, in the bristol.txt file the following is the default pit
window:
SPDWY 0 78 87
The AI cars will normally pit somewhere between every 78-87 laps.  To
cut this in half change the line to:
SPDWY 0 39 44

There is a SPDWY line in every <track>.txt file for each track.  The
last 2 numbers in this line dictate the normal pit stop window.
