Can anyone tell me if there is "add on" available  that will display
on screen  the current circuits' map while driving as in CPR?

I think maybe Gordons looking for an Arcade game?  Unfortunately GP2 is
to goodfor that.......

Maybe you should try driving around the circuit a few times and then
there will be no need for a map.

Schumacher drives around with a track map at his wheel. Its for the
communication with his racing engineer during the race. Every corner has
a number. They only talk in numbers to avoid misunderstandings about
which part of the track they talking.

Schumacher actually has had a track map on his steering wheel.
