Its the same up here in Canada.  Every week I voyage to the local computer shops
and every week they don't have a game that's been out the other side of the pond
for quite some time now.  Interestingly enough, they do have the import of Monaco
Grand Prix by UbiSoft, but at present my Banshee'd P200 MMX can't handle it well
enough.  Colin McRae demo on the other hand ran beautifully.

Try this URL http://www.racesimcentral.net/.  They sell imports and I saw McRae
listed.  I'm just going to wait a little longer before I break down and have it
shipped to me.

I live in Calgary, AB and found the game on the shelf at CompuSmart for
C$59.95.
I believe they have online shopping as well - check it out!
