Anyone managed to set up the GP2 so that you can use the analogue paddles of
the Thrustmaster Nascar Sprint for changing gear?

Can't be done, I converted them to micro-switches and made some pedals..

GP2 is hardcoded to accept keyboard or Joystick buttons only for gear
changes.  Unless someone hacks the program, I am afraid you are stuck
with buttons for gear changes.  Unless you do as someone else suggested,
install microswitches in place of the pots for the paddles.

The other alternative is to upgrade to the NASCAR Super Sport, which
defaults the paddles to switches (Joystick B) in DOS.  Which by the way,
has excellent pedals.
