After seeing a couple of posts here about the Aura Interactor, I
ordered an Aura Interactor for $20 from O'Shea Ltd.
(http://www.oshealtd.com/interact.htm). It arrived today, so I hooked
it up promptly and fired up SCGT, Viper Racing, and GPL -- and I was
literally blown away! In some ways, it may be better than a force
feedback wheel -- getting to feel the engine vibrations (and thumps
from shifting and rumbles from the rumble strips) REALLY enhances the
experience.
Note that this is the Interactor "backpack" version, not the cushion.
It works nicely strapped to the back of your chair, though rather than
strapped to ME. I lean against it like it was a cushion; it's nicely
countoured, and although it could use some padding, it's not really
uncomfortable, but I might contact my mother to see if she'd like to do
a little contract seamstress work to convert it into a "cushion"
version.
All in all, a very good deal for $20 (don't forget to tell 'em John
Bodin sent you <G>).
