And the price is very reasonable - a good start so far :) Thanks for the

Ooer. Must be getting very close. I've no hesitation in coughing up the
money.

Of course I should probably have waited a day or so just in case it's an
elaborate scam to fund rFrank. ;-)

I've paid my $39.99. Haven't looked forward to a release as much as this in
years. :-)

I've paid as well, ($47.99 Canadian). It's a violation of a lesson learned
the hard way over the years, not to buy software until it's been out for a
while and I've read numerous reviews, but I REALLY like the way these guys
are going about  their business, fully open to and involved with the sim
community, and that deserves our support.

No, please don't be alarmed, it's not a scam to fund me and my dillusional
ideologies to create a MMO Racing sim like the NROS ;-)

Ah, so you're the one funding iRacing or whatever they call themselves
this week, and here we all thought it was John Henry, go figure....

Please don't tell anybody, but I'm the true owner of the Red Sox.  Why do
you think they always have ex-Expos players in the team?

Me too.

I really hope it is the kind of quantum leap the AutoSimSport guys seem
to think it is. Although steady progress has been made we have been
somewhat starved of that major release (especially for open wheeler
fans) since dare I say it, GPL.

Before that big steps were a regular occurence; Indy 500, F1GP, Indycar,
Nascar, GP2 etc. I was beginning to think we weren't going to get that
big release that takes most areas forward and doesn't have a weak area.

Looks like we will have to wait for the weather implementation though.

Lets hope it lives up to expectations and we can have a fully rounded
single and multiplayer sim which sets the benchmark for future development.

Cheers
Tony

I'm not hoping for too much. I just love the demo, it makes me grin in
ways even LFS S2 can't manage for some reason.

While mentioning LFS, I really hope there aren't many tracks and
vehicles in rF. I miss the simplicity of the early days of GPL. Just a
few cars, a few really good tracks, and a *lot* of competition. Spread
everyone out over a hundred track/vehicle combinations and life gets
less interesting.

I guess it's a bit like learning a new track: At first, the big
improvements in laptimes come easily and readily, while later on you
have to fight for every tenth of a second and do dozens of laps; but
then, the little improvements feel so much better than the small ones
when you get to perfection ;-)

Agree with all of that. Sounds like we find out next week. :-)
