Does anyone know of any Touring Car (British or otherwise) Simulators that are either
in development or being planned.

I would be grateful if anyone car help as TC racing is an excellent formula which
does not get the coverage it deserves.

Thanks in advance.

Paul,

I agree with you there. I watch the BTCC on Speedvision and it is
tremendous! They put the Nascar boys to shame in terms of close racing,
contact  and excitment. Besides, they race on some great road courses! I
think it will require a European game company to produce it because most
people in the States don't have a clue about Touring cars and no
producer would touch it.

Wishing I was in Europe..

Well you're one up on me...no dish and TSN won't touch Super Touring. I'm
STARVED for touring action!! I was like a pig in sh!t when I went to the
Portland Indy race...two days of NATCC action (yeah, so what if there was
only 5-8 cars...).

I too would LOVE a Super Touring sim. With Gerhard's converters I rarely
play "NASCAR" any more...if only a couple of the tracks AI could have
converted a little more smoothly. And I agree completely with you Jeff,
it would have to be a European company with European programers, and on
top of that, perferably a NEW company. I couldn't stand another one of
Papyrus' thrown together sims. If anyone desides to program such a sim I
INSIST that 2/3 if not half of the programers are auto racing fans. It
doesn't sit well in my gut when programers who have such a lack of
understanding of the sport they are attempting to simulate program these
sims.

We North Americans finally got some coverage on the Networks today!  ABC
did round 7 at Toronto of NATCC today, Paul Page and Danny Sullivan.
Pretty bad commentary, but the race wasn't all that bad, except for the
12(!) car field.  Did Anyone else see it?

I think the NATCC will take off pretty soon, and will be a top
championship by, perhaps, next year. Shame there's no coverage in
Britain, but I'm happy watching the BTCC anyway.

Congrats to 'our man' Peter Hardman!
