While everyone's arguing over GPL and whether it's realistic or not,
I'd like to drag your attention away for one second to let you know
that The Pits Touring Car Championship patch Version 2.01 is out.
Great stuff!
- new screens
- new sounds
- low-res***pit
- right-hand and left hand***pits
- new wet tracks to bash your fenders with
- and even more...
Planned in the next update....
- Sound/wheel installer
- replay screen
As well, we're currently working on the 1998 Super Touren Wagon (German)
and British Touring Car Championship carsets. Quite a bit of the set is already
done, and these cars look VERY superb, thanks to Franck and Kees.
Will defintely be the best carset out on the net when completed. As well,
they've been designed to run very close together, and get quite vicious when passed...
Not to forget, for N1 users, The Pits, in conjunction with Late Apex Racing
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/)
has also updated the N1 Touring patch, with a new dash, new 3do shape,
new wheels, and new engine graphics. You can find it on our archives
page.
We want to thank everyone who's helped make The Pits what it is, from all
the people who visit (over half a million), to the contributors who do all the
work, to The Pits Crew who slave every day just to get everyone freeeeee stuff!
Hmmmm...this is starting to sound like a NASCAR post race interview... ;]
Cheers!
