Hi,

I am interested in a rally/touring/GT simulators for PC (Windows).
Heard about Colin McRae 2, Mobil 1 Rally Championship and TOCA Touring Cars
What can you recommend? Opinions?
What else?

What steering wheel game controller for PC can you recommend?

Thanks in advance,
    Igor

I recommend Colin McRae 2 as a good rally game.  For GT simulators, you have
to buy F1 2002 and then download the GTR2002 mod for it.  Just do a search
of this group and the Net for GTR2002 and you'll see everyone praising this
awesome mod.  Start downloading!!!! ;)  Hopefully someone else here can
recommend specific sites for you to download the various GTR 2002 files
from.  Live for Speed from www.liveforspeed.net is another good simulation
to try.  As for steering wheels, I'm happy with my MS Precision Racing wheel
(non-force-feedback).  Logitech's Momo Force, and Momo Racing wheels seem to
be getting good reviews for force-feedback wheels.

Sports Car GT (SCGT) has broad support and is good if you've got a
low-end PC, GTR2002 is the current leader-of-the-pack for high-end
systems. No rally mod yet tho (?)

Igor,

Try these site for good wheel reviews.  I found them by doing a google
search for PC steering wheels (comparison, evaluation, review, test....)
Good luck.

Here's a nice comparison review of the 2 MOMO wheels available.  I own the
OLD leather wrapped MOMO and am extremely satisfied (also own the much older
Logitech Wingman FF and TSW2).  You won't find many criticisms aimed at the
leather MOMO wheel (other than the pedals which are a bit soft but fine for
me).

BTW, run don't walk to buy F1 2002 and DL GTR 2002.  The best GT sports
racing you'll find on a PC.
