I was wonderering if there is a list of toptimes available.
I have no idea how fast I drive.
My best times which are worth mentioning are:

Long Beach:     0:52:9xx
Laguna Seca     1:09:039
Portland        1:03:316
Toronto         0:59:390
Vancouver       0:57:402

Please mail me some of your best times, I'm curious.

Gertjan, the only place I know of with times posted for all the tracks
 is at the IVGA pages.

You can get their software and submit your own times too.

I am very disappointed about my Indycar2 performance:

Laguna Seca 1.17.xxx
Elkhard Lake 1.49.xxx
Michigan 234.xxx mph

How did you get your car so fast?
How long did it take to make such laptimes?

bye A. Kerroum

I've driven Laguna Seca and I came to 1.09.039 using the standard ACE-setup. I
presume you have a joystick (or better). The key to driving fast is to break
early and just let the car roll through the corner. This way you can get a
good acceleration out of the corner. Just fill up your car with 25 gallons and
drive relaxed. Then when you have about 5 gallons left, you should easily
drive times about 1.12.xxx or 1.11.xxx.

One other thing: don't steer to the maximum. When you have a shallow corner
(don't know if that's English) steer shallow. When you hear the wheels
sliding you're steering too sharp. Try to steer as shallow as possible.

I'd say start with about 10 Gals.  If you start with 25, your rears will be
worn out by the time you get down to 5...

A friend and I drive Michigan all the time on Modem play. We constantly run qualifying laps in the 240mph
to 242mph range. We can qualify in the pole with a good effort on  opponent 100% strength. We got our
car setups from Michael Wollenstiens page and the setup is called MWQ I beleive. It's a great setup and
the car really flies!!!
