After mastering Nascar I & II, I was not up to speed on my hardware
req. for Nascar 3 so I was away from it a while.  I just loaded it
and my first impression is way too similar to N2.  Graphics look
good, but feels very similar.  My training wheels quickly went
away, as I was able to stay in front with the slightly modified
"Ace" setting and 97% opponant strength.  Where can I find settings
that will allow me to run faster?  Any suggestions out there based
on my requirements.

Also, are there patches I should know about?

BTW, what is with the cars twitching in front of me?

Sorry, just no time to read this whole newsgroup, way
to much here.

You can always give ONLINE racing a try, just go to multiplayer and sign
up and go...much...much differnet than the AI...so you better get
practicing (BTW..it is free)

Why not run with opponent AI at 100% then if you're looking for a
challenge....?

Beating the AI in Nascar 3 means relatively little, I'm afraid. Papy
didn't do a very good job of programming the AI cars, and there's
little to get e***d about there. I'm able to win races at 105%
without breaking a sweat, with the correct setup, of course.

The best challenges and the most fun Nascar 3 MUST be played on-line.
If, like me, you thought the AI weren't too bad in N3 at first, you'll
never look at them the same way again once you race against anybody
competitive on-line.

No more sleep for a week, then.
