Yes, it did impress me, but don't expect any long, teary eyed, poetic
descriptions of how wonderful the game is or how God himself must of had a
hand in it's creation. You'll get enough of those type of posts from the
GPL guys.  :-)

Personally I don't fond the grass to be accurate.... it's still like hitting
an "air break" when you put a wheel on a grass. I would presume that it should
just throw the car around a fair bit but it shouldn't really slow you down
(that is unless you lift off....which you should to regain composure).
Shame, 'cos the on-track behaviour is very good.

This never really bothered me much until I watched the Luxembourg G.P.
from Nurburgring last weekend.   There was one corner where the cars
would consistently slightly cut through the grass/dirt at the end of
the curb.  It was obviously the fastest way around that corner.  When
I tried this in F1RS, it instantly slows me from about 90MPH to about
45MPH.   Very depressing!  I am running the 1.09 patch, BTW.

i downloaded this and drove it for about an hour, since been deleted
it is nothing new, except for the new front wheels, and engine noise
which isn't better, just different

the only reason i would even consider this version, is if they have
fixed the multiplayer problem, of the cars moving ***ly, when you
get close,
i have written, ubisoft asking if this has been fixed, haven't heard
yet,

The question was made to the project manager who indicated that the
multiplayer had been totally revamped and that this problem shouldn't exist
anymore.
