I am using a Guillemot Phoenix Banshee with GPL and it runs quite well.

Are you using the original demo or the newer version?

I don't know about the demo because I bought the CL Banshee after I got GPL,
but it works fine for me on the full version. Mind you, I had to get the
latest drivers from the Creative site to get the menus working correctly.

I am running the Diamond Monster Fusion
Voodoo Banshee and it has run great straight out of the box
But you do need a newer windows 95OSR2.1 or 98

I succumbed and bought GPL....And yes it works fine with a
CL Banshee (unlike the demo..which refuses to start!)

God! This is the most awesome piece of software I have ever
seen. The sense of speed in unbelievable..And I'm running it
at 1024 *768 on a PPro 166 system. In training I'm exceeding
35fps with fully detailed mirrors and full distance graphics!
(no doubt the fps will drop as I start racing againt the AI
competition...but I will have probably upgraded the system
by the time I am competent enough to do that..)

The physics modeling is truly remarkable.

As a mate of mine once said..
