GPL 3dfx with Banshee??

I just switched from an Intense Voodoo card to a Banshee 16Mb. When I set up
GPL to 3dfx it's gives me a message that I need to re-start the game to get it
to work in 3dfx. When I re-start it shows 3dfx as none. Worked fine with my old
card, whats the problem?

Lots:)
Get the generic drivers from 3dfx.com, uninstall all your previous
drivers (new ones).
Get the banshee patch from the fast lane..
