Picking a Nascar game

Picking a Nascar game

Well, I am looking at some Nascar games, N3 N1999 and Nascar Legands.  I am
not a real big fan, but the AI is usually very good so, I am looking at one
of these three.  I am leaning to Nascar Legends since the older cars and
Riverside appeal to me.  I was just wondering how Nascar Legends comapred
to N3

Well Nl interests me due to the older cars.  I like em more then the cookie
cutter cars Nascar runs now.  Infact they would love to do what Papy did is
one body for every car.  NL seems to have 2 bodys at least.  Also  Sear
Point was castrated for Nascar by Bruton Smith, by removing the carasel.
Riverside is a neat track since I still remember Nascar and IMSA running
there.

N99 is in my thoughts due to Heartland Park and the Truck and BGN packs.
Also its 20 bucks around here so that is tempting too.

NL is leadingmy choice right now,  I was just wanting to make sure it was
not loosing anything to N3.

Thanks for the info.

Dave

In my opinon, NL is more fun than N3.  N3 is a lot of fun, but, the cars in NL
are harder to handle and take more concentration.  The races, and tracks, are a
lot more fun to me.

However, you can't go bad with either one.  Both have their good points.  The AI
is identical in both.

Does anyone have the original Sears Point from Nascar1 - even converted to
N2-N3

If someone would send it to me (even off the origional N1 CD) It would be
very appreciated

Thanks in advance

Your also running the "castrated" Riverside in NL....  N3's Sears Point and
NL's Riverside both are the NASCAR circuits...

N3 since it offers a wide array of tracks and online races (NL isn't popular).
N3 has BGN + WC, and in a few months will have the CTS pack which will make
NR99 completely obsolete except for a few tracks that the trucks are dumping.
But buying em all would give ya the most.... :-)

Dave, if you're mostly concerned with Riverside, you may NOT want NL.
From what I've seen so far, the AI is so aggravating there, that the AI
borders on "defective" there, because of the arguments about cutting Turn 6.
If you don't mind "doing what the AI does" then you'll probably enjoy it.
Realize that NL also removes the pit road speed limit and you lose your
spotter, along with the body shape changes.
I'm still working on the Other Half to convince her of my need for it.

Actually, you don't lose your spotter in Nascar Legends, they decided late
to keep it in.
However, if your a purist and don't want him in there, turn him off :)
Legends is a blast to drive, much different than N3 - tire and pit strategy
take on a whole new meaning.

WHAT?!?  Son of a...
I just spent $39.99 at Best Buy.  It was actually mis-marked, because it came
up on the register as $49.99.  I complained, and got it for the marked price...
...and STILL paid $20 too much...? <sigh>

Hey, is your flashnet connection good for online racing?  How much is it?
