If you use a joystick button for throttle control, here's something you should
know: Clicking the throttle button once and holding produces no wheelspin;
double-clicking and holding the throttle button creates wheelspin. For pedal
users, wheelspin occurs at about 70% of full throttle.

Correct, or for getting turned around more safely after an "incident".
Unfortunately, it has the side-effect of (slightly) increasing your
acceleration in a standing start. Whether that's realistic is
somewhat open to debate, but I can tell you IT DOES in N2...

It's canned, so you CAN prevent the wheels spinning, but after driving
GPL
it's the one thing I can't stand anymore...
