Ok now I get it....the 12,9 MB file from Sierra should be removed
immediately.....

With the 18Mb demo from Papy it looks VERY interesting.

Thx.

I got the D3D patch working just fine with the Demo for Papy's site. you
need to create your own core.ini

Eh... where did you get the 1.2 patch??? it's on the same page at Papyrus'
web www.papy.com.

They're both in the downloads section for GPL.

Get the game on buget now... it will take over your life, but before you
realise that you will have stopped caring. ;-))

Ok

Are you running DirectX 7a?

http://www.microsoft.com/directx/homeuser/downloads/default.asp

What video driver are you using for your TNT2?

Download the latest driver at www.nvidia.com for the TNT2 3.68,
install them as per the instructions in the readme.

Hope this helps

Try limiting you memory to 2MB in the video, oh what is the setting
guys? Is it the buffer? Come on 3dfx guys help me here! Then maybe it
will work. There was a work-around prior to the 1.2 patch that may be
required on the patch.

If we're following the rules made by the powers that be...(and of course we
do that)...then the game is embedded a tax & borderfee that make up a lot of
the difference....

Not by 400% of course...but anyways....

Downloading it now ... I have tried two demos from Sierra, both about
12mb in size.

I see that they claim W98 support so I'm hoping for the best ... I'll let
you know.

I did mail Sierra about this problem and amongst various comments, this
shone through ...

".......  it is not recommended to load a demo to determine whether the
full version of the program will operate on the system."

I find this quite amusing .....
