Fantastic work. There were 800 people in line waiting to download last time
I checked, so you might need some patience. :-)

Is that just car graphic updates or does it include revised physics and
tracks?

Not bad, except I think Monaco is not right.  Didn't they switch the pits
over to the other side of the buildings at Monaco this year?  Plus it still
has that awful jump between Massenet and ***.

Yea, it doesn't fix that, its Monaco 2003, not 2004...2004 would be neat at
some point though.

Does anyone have a direct download link please?  The javascript:getEMACfile
refuses to run for me.  I recall having the same problem with Ralph's
excellent 2003 update.

Are you using a pop-up blocker?  Some pop-up blockers will block java from
opening windows.  If so try turning off your pop-up blocker before
downloading.

Does anyone know where to get the Bahrain and China tracks? The circuits
that come with this mod look just like the A-1 Ring.

They are probably place holders until the two tracks are finished.  One
group was working on Bahrain, but they were doing such a good job a
commercial interest...I think it was a TV show...asked them to work with
them.  Since then, I haven't heard a peep from the group.  I wonder if the
TV folks have bought their services.

It is the A1 Ring, its just a placeholder for right now. In the readme file
it says that the next iteration of the track pack should have bahrain, they
don't know about shanghi though, probably 2 or 3 months after the race
happens they'll have something.

Same here... after creating a gamespy account, both links on the
public servers result in a 404. Help please! ;-)

cheers,

Thanks Stuart. I should pay more attention to the readme file.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Unfortunately, still no joy!  I've tried it without any proxy settings, no
popup blocker, the site set to 'trusted' status and with my firewall
disabled.  Nothing.

Managed to find the files on eMule, so hopefully this will do the trick.

Thanks to all for the help.

This doesn't seem to be getting much attention, and the official site
seems to have nothing about this, so I figured I'd post it here.   I
know most people don't seem to like driving the modern-F1 sim cars, but
I really enjoy it.

Here's the issue I'm having.   I've installed the base and expansions
and they seem to be working well.   The car models look absolutely
gorgeous, and the setups that come along with it work very, very well
for me.   However:

1) When I try to install the trackpack, the DOS window that comes up
shows an error, but only for a split second.   I'm guessing that the
tracks aren't being installed at all, but does anyone know how to get
that DOS window to stick around so I can see just what the heck is going on?

2) I just tried running a race at Spa, which was working great until
just before the bus stop.   Every AI car just suddenly lunged to the
right, went through the armco, and were never to be seen again.   While
I appreciate that I get to be leading by 10ish seconds after the first
lap, it does make the race slightly less exciting :)   If anyone can
shed some light on this for me, I'd appreciate it.

Realizing that I may well have missed something in previous posts or on
local messageboards, a link or even what exactly to search for would be
most appreciated.

Thanks!
