If any of you are still wondering how F1-2000's tracks compare to the
real thing, just get yourself a copy of EASports Superbike 2000 by
Milestone. This motorcycle sim has the most accurate track graphics
ever seen in a PC sim. Photorealistic in every sense of the word.
I sat there and watched the World Superbike 1999 video review by
Duke/Speedvision on tape and compared it to SBK2000, the accuracy in
the game was astounding. Just compare Superbike 2000's Monza to
F1-2000's Monza. I mean, where is the old banked section behind the
fence in F1-2000's Monza? I wish Milestone would put their talented
artists at work on an F1 sim. What a treat that would be. Oh well, I
guess F1-2000 is just another arcade racer with a taste of sim here
and there. Supposedly ISI will follow this title up with F1-2001 and
F1-2002. Let's hope they'll use F1-2000 as a good base to work from.
I'm looking forward to GP3 more than ever now.
