I only have a 75 mhz. puter with 16 meg of RAM and 50 mb's of free memory.
Will Nascar 2 work with this setup???  Also, will the demo work with
it??? I have both Nascar 1 and ICR2 and they work great. Please respond.
Thanks for reading.

Will NASCAR 2 run from a CD only or can it be loaded on a hard disk?

Thanks

: Not 100% sure right now, but I would say that it will work as NASCAR 1
: does.

I seem to have lost the thread to this response.  What will work as
NASCAR 1 does?

Should be fine.  That's our minimum system for SVGA.  Our goal is to get
the frame rate as good or better than ICR2 in SVGA.  I am pretty sure we
can do that.

Heck. I am still racing on an OLD packard bell 487-33 with 8 meg of ram!!!! I run
nascar and hawaii and don't have a problem. To see you crying that you may not be able
to run Nascar2 with that monster of a machine makes me worry if I can run it with any
detail at all!

I hope that the absalute minimum required to run it is less than I got. With any
luck, I hope that the minimum is a 486 SX-25 with 4 meg ram! :'''-(

The installation of the game Adam said will be similar to Nascar 1. The
previous thread asked whether Nascar 2 would be as a hard disk or CD-ROM
installation.

I guess I am screwed with my lowly P60 and 8MB Ram? I run in SVGA now with
most detail shut off, can I do that with N2? I run ICR2 fine also. Of
course I can live with slower framerates then most I guess. I heard to run
the NRL we are going to need WIN95, is this going to slow down everything
while we race online? Also will my 14.4 modem be good enough or will I
have to upgrade that too? Seems the last time I dropped a ton of cash was
to play Nascar 1, I don't like the way this is going, by time N3 comes I
will be able to launch ICBM's from my living room.

This is starting to hurt my wallet.

I have a Packard bell 487/33 with 1 meg vidio ram,512K cach, 8 Meg Ram, and the verry
bassics with every thing els!

I can run Hawaii using VGA, with 4 cars ahead,2 behind, Track markings, trackside
objects on and car detail on auto. Every thing els is turned off. I get a good frame
rate (smooth).

I missed the entire front end of this message so I can't figure out if it said that a
486 could still run the system or not.

Question: Can I run NASCAR2 with a 487/33 with the above grafics settings?

I don't, for some reason unknown at this time, get -ALL- the posts. So please remail the
answer to my address.

Thanks,
