Sorry - just had 20oz of Kahlua&cream and I'm slightly punchy...
I think Jari was on the right track - have you calibrated the
controller in Windows? The fact that the rev limiter and shifter
don't work make me think when you tried to assign these controls
F1-2k2 saw an analog input for these instead. Check that first. Go
to www.wingmanteam.com for DxTweak2 - it'll let you manually set the
controller range and center values if you have trouble calibrating.
The PLR file tweaks are mainly for the notorious split-axis pedals
bug. In a nutshell, F1-2k would ignore 50% of the pedal travel on the
brake and gas if you had your pedals setup for split axis. F1-2001
required alot of DxTweak work to get a min/center/max setup that would
give you full pedal range, while F1-2002 introduced settings in the
.PLR file to help with this (and out-of the box miraculously worked
with the TM pedals on a separate controller from my Act-Labs wheel).
Good luck - GTR-2002 is *definitely* worth the effort, and F1-2002 is
pretty good in its own right. Don't forget to enable super-high
physics rate in your PLR file as well - look for it, it's there ;).
