How come I can't configure my wheel and pedals for Nascar Racing 2? My
wheel works perfectly with any other game. When I attempt to calibrate
from the options screen, the game recognizes the steering axis, but not
the pedal axis. Also, when I click on a function to configure (shift up,
or shift down, for example) a box telling me to choose a control flashes
on the screen for a millisecond, then disappears, leaving me unable to
choose a control. What is up with that?

System is P2 350, 64mg, Win 98, Diamond Monster 3Dfx Voodoo2, blah,
blah. Steering wheel is Logitech Wingman Formula (not the FF version).

BTW, this system runs Grand Prix Legends like a dream.

You probably have the wheel set up for seperate axis.  N2 does not recognize
seperate axis.

I get tired of switching it all the time for GPL and N2 !

Had the same problem this evening.  Finally resolved it by:
1)  Setting up my wheel and pedals in windows controller.
2)  In N2, calibrate Wheel as controller 1
3)               calibrate pedals as controller 2
4) Use the joystick switch, not wheel switch in N2 control screen.

Then selected the relevant control for steering, brake & accel.  All
now works fine.
