I would like to know how I can determine what my frame rate is running
in Nascar? I am upgrading my computer and would like to see before and
after frame rate changes. Thanks in advance.

The graphics option screen allows you to set some things to
Auto/ON/OFF. Set 1 and only 1 thing (ie pavement) to Auto. Set the
minimum frame rate to a high number like 50. Run a race and see if
pave is on. Go back and keep dropping the minimum until pave appears.
I chose pave because you can keep your eyes on the track.

This gives you your framerate for THAT environment. (You get better
framerate in Preseason testing than in a 40 car race).

If you do this for the new machine you should get a higher framerate.

Set all the graphic objects to AUTO and the Minimum Frame Rate to 25.
Then reduce the MFR until one or more objects, usually the asphalt
texture, start to switch off. Thats your frame rate.

No, don't do that.  The problem with AUTO is that it take CPU power for it to
figure out whether or not it can show the graphics or not.  The frame rate you
get with auto things turned on will not be the same as if they were just on.

How about if you ADD a couple to allow for that?  Say it kicks in at 22.
Would 24 be reasonable?

The best way to do this is to set ONE graphic feature to AUTO and then
you'll know the framerate, if you have too many on auto it doesnt work
right

I agree, but until NCR2 comes out, there's no other way to APPROXIMATE
your frame rate.  If you have an alterative method, tell us.  Otherwise,

I know that the actuality is FGP2, but at this moment I can't spend the money
at this moment, perhaps some months later......
My questions is if is possible for somebody, to send me some car settings for
the different tracks, and also send me the keyboard map, I know the most of
the keys, but I have losen the manual,My wife throught it to trash, how the
women are, aren't them?
Thanks, Fermin

There is/was a Track pack to get more tracks.  However, I would suggest
holding off buying more tracks.  Instead wait until NASCAR2 comes out
and spend the money on it.  It will have all of the tracks for the 1996
season (excepting Daytona & the Brickyard -- which weren't available for
NASCAR 1 either).
