Hi,
Holy shit!!!!  That's one hell of a recommended computer!  I only meet two specs:
CD drive and RAM.  I bet that PC Lamer will give it no stars because of the fact
that you need that kind of a computer, even if its a great game.  Anyway, what
are the minimum requirements?

Expect to get 5fps with these specs ;-) And btw, these pics are absolutely

Hey man, the 'minium' spec recommended is not expensive to upgrade nowadays:Abit

and an ATX case, it is very easy to have or upgrade to the recommended spec. Give no
stars? No way! I hope the game to push the 'minium' spec to limit (say, 25-30fps) so
that it give the best eye candy graphic and realistic physics. A game can run well
(max performance) in a PII-266 with V1 have no future!

I looked at the screen shots, and while I'm not sure, it looks like
the game still uses the "walled in" track, meaning you can't leave the
track, no matter how badly you***up.
There are walls of trees, raised edges of land, or as in one
screenshot, actual stone walls and fences beside the track.

Although I enjoyed playing the original Rally Championship, I didn't
buy the second version because it still had the "walled" tracks.
I set my fastest speeds by holding the pedal to the floor and glancing
off the trees and other scenery instead of driving clean.
The one (only?) benefit of this design is nice graphics and good
speed, even on lower spec machines.
MotoRacer2 uses this method nicely. Really dense scenery and sweet
framerates. Not what I want out of a rally sim engine, though.

The steep system specs make me wonder if they actually did a true
model this time. Does anyone know if we'll finally be able to leave
the roadway and actually hit things, instead of just being ricocheted
back onto the track?

Well hopefully my new "Game Boy" will run it {currently under construction}.

Transmitted on a clunky old "Net Mule"
Specs:
Pentium 120
Atima M-7 Mobo
48meg memory
& a bunch of parts scarfed up for free the last time MIS cleaned out the
storage closet.
