Anybosy had experience of running F1RS on a P100 with a 3dfx card will it
run ok if I turn some details off? is this possible, I heard the game is
pretty slow on the lower spec machines so this is putting me off a bit
until i have the cash to upgrade, I've also got a Digital Edge F1SIM
wheel/Pedals setup anybosy had good results with these?

Cheers

I'm running it on a P133 w/40Meg, Pure 3D and it is VERY playable in single
player situations with all gfx on. However, add a few cars around you and it's
best to shave off some overhead. Don't wait... It's great...  IMO, of course.

I've Never had any problems with the wheel, It's a great setup.

The only possible problem you may encounter is changing the wheel from two
to three axis opperation so you can use the break and accelerator pedals at
the same time; the switch to do this is internal on my version
so you have to unscrew a metal plate to get at it, which can get annoying,
other than this problem its great.

With a P100, 24 Mo it is OK when you are alone.
But the first lap is quite unplayable, even with most details
off. At the end, you will really enjoy driving with your
current computer. But racing is only possible if you wait
1 or 2 laps at the last position. Obviously, you need
to reduce the number of opponents to a max of 16.

Francois.

I have had an F1 Sim for about a year now and it has never let me
down, it is very sturdy, made of steel construction, and quality
parts.

Go get one now.
